Bodrum's first apart-hotel
Seçkin Konaklar was founded in 1976 by Rüştü Gür, with its architecture designed by Cengiz Bektaş. As one of the first apart-hotels in Türkiye, it witnessed the years in which tourism in Bodrum began.
Still run by the same family today, the hotel has stood in the same place for fifty years: two-storey white blocks arranged around a pool, with mature trees and bougainvillea between them. We are at the quiet end of Neyzen Tevfik Street — two minutes' walk to the marina, fifteen to the old town, and yet when you come back to your room in the evening all you hear is the crickets.

We have shared the same garden for fifty years. We track our energy and water use, separate our waste, and buy locally wherever we can.

Frequently asked questions
Is breakfast included?
Yes. An open buffet breakfast is served every morning between 08:00 and 10:30 in the breakfast room by the pool, and it is included in the room rate.
When is the pool open?
The outdoor pool is seasonal and, depending on the weather, stays open from mid-May to mid-October. The pool bar operates through the summer season. There is a children's pool beside the main one.
Is there parking, and is it free?
We offer free on-site parking for our guests. The car park also has an AC charging point for electric vehicles.
How far is the hotel from the centre and the marina?
Bodrum Marina is directly opposite the hotel, about two minutes on foot. Bodrum Castle is 1.3 km away, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus 1 km and the Myndos Gate 1.1 km — all within walking distance. Milas–Bodrum Airport is 36 km, roughly 40 minutes by car.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is until 12:00. We try to accommodate early check-in or late check-out subject to availability; please let us know in advance.
Do you have a room suitable for a family?
Our 80 m² split-level suite, with two separate bedrooms, a living room with fireplace and a kitchen, suits families of up to four. As it is our only suite, it fills up early in the summer.
Do the rooms have a kitchen?
A full kitchen is only found in the two-bedroom suite. Standard and twin rooms have a mini fridge but no hob.
Can I book online?
You send a booking request through our website; once we have confirmed availability and the rate, we finalise your reservation. You are also welcome to reach us on WhatsApp or by phone.
